Cheryl Skupa grew up in Eastern Oklahoma and the interior of Brazil. Her childhood was encompassed by books. As an adult, she taught English to high school and college students of many nationalities. And in 1989, she spent a year in a remote province of the People’s Republic of China. She’s currently a wife and mother, as well as part-time teacher and writer in a small-town surrounded the ever-changing wildflowers and grasses of the Great Plains.
